Who hasn’t seen the infomercial for this product promising an easy way to clean your wood, tile, and vinyl floors quickly and easily with just water? It almost seems too good to be true. Is it? First the good. Many have reported being happy with the purchase. Not only have they found the Shark Steam Mop to be lightweight and easy to use but they report getting great results from the product. It sure beats hauling a bucket of water and a mop around the house.

Another thing many like about Shark Steam Mop is that it only needs water to clean. No need for special cleaning products. Regular tap water can be used unless you have really hard tap water in which case they recommend using distilled or purified water.

As a parent, the fact that I can clean floors without chemicals is one of the things that drew me to the Shark Steam Mop. I hate the idea of cleaning my laminate floors with chemicals and then letting my little ones sit and play on it! The steam mop is certainly a more green way to approach house cleaning.

Some of the problems consumers have reported with the Shark Steam Mop include the size of the water reservior tank and the cord. Although the tank is large enough to allow for about twenty minutes of mopping if you have a lot of floor to cover, you may have to refill it once or twice.
