Steamfast Steam Mop

The SteamFast Steam Mop may not be as well known as some of it's competitors like Shark, Bissell, or Haan, but that certainly doesn't mean that it doesn't have it's place in the steam mop world.  Let's take a closer look at what the Steamfast Steam Mop has to offer....

Like any steam mop, the Steamfast has it's share of pros and cons.  One of the strongest things it has going for it is it's price.  It is one of the most affordable of all steam mops.  This affordable price does come at a slight cost.  You will find that the SteamFast Steam Mop doesn't possess some of the flashy features that other steam mops have to offer but if you are just looking for something to get the job done at a price that doesn't break the bank, then the Steamfast Steam Mop is worth considering.

Let's Examine the Steamfast's Pros and Cons.....

A couple things to know before you decide if this steam mop is indeed right for you.  First, the Steamfast has one of the smallest water tanks you will find in any steam mop.  This is not too big of a deal, it simply means that you will have to refill more often which can drag out the time it takes to complete your mopping.  If you only mop one room at a time, this shouldn't be a problem because you should have between 7 and 8 minutes of mop time on a tank which is likely enough to do a standard size room.

Another thing this steam mop is lacking is a swivel head.  The swivel head makes it easier to mop in tight places such as around toilets and other objects.

The small tank and lack of a swivel head don't mean that you should totally discount this mop though.  It has a good share of positive reviews to it's name and as I mentioned, it costs significantly less (up to 50%) than many of it's more famous competitors.

And the SteamFast Steam Mop certainly does have a few other things going for it as well.  It comes with two mop pads, just like most other steam mops.  The mop pads velcro on to the mop's base which is nice.  Some other steam mops have pads that strap or clip on and the general consensus is that pads that velcro on are the easiest to change.

Finally, the Steamfast Steam Mop offers continuous steam.  No holding a trigger or pumping a button to get the steam coming out.

So while there may be other steam mops that garner higher ratings than the Steamfast, such as the Eureka Enviro Steamer and the Bissell Steam Mop, the SteamFast Steam Mop still has some nice things to offer and a price that is right for the budget-minded.
